Jan and Cathy are no strangers to the industry of arts and entertainment. In the 80s and 90s they traveled all over the United States and Canada singing and performing music professionally. Jan and Cathy were one of the first duos in the United States to incorporate computers and sequencing onto the stage. When sequencing was in its infancy in the eighties, Jan worked with a Canadian software programmer to improve upon the efficiency of using sequencing in a live performance. In 1998 their management company out of St. Paul, MN introduced them to the world of video production. That was over 14 years ago and they haven’t looked back since. It seems natural for Jan and Cathy to create artistry through video production since their background comes from many years of stage performance and integrating computer technology into their musical act.
They both enjoy meeting with new clients and make a special point of getting to know all of them on a personal basis. “If you want to produce quality for a client, you have to know their personalities first. No two clients are the same,” says Jan and Cathy.
In 2007, Jan and Cathy received an International Creative Excellence Award from the National Weddings & Event Videographers Association of which they’ve been long time members. They are thrilled and honored to be recognized for their work. Jan and Cathy have been shooting DSLR cameras for the past year. Their goals are to always move forward with technology so that they can continue to offer their clients exquisite looking work.
When it comes to producing memories of their client’s lives, Jan and Cathy take it to heart.
